    Gee, thanks...

Haha!! No, this is cool. It'll be a good way to keep track of all of the books I've been meaning to read.

Ey Lenny, are there works of Marx Brothers that you would consider to be underrated? If any, what are those?

Thanks! Yeah, I hope you do check out Pit-Stop. Maybe you can review it for me on culturazzi. I did check out your page. You're a great reviewer. I had to leave a comment under your review of Let the Right One In. That was such an awesome movie.

And Lost's season ender totally blew my mind. I think the man in black is the smoke monster, and every time we've seen a ghost in connection with the smoke monster it's been him playing with someone. I got about a million other ideas, too, so I better stop now.

I'm sure you've probably seen the new photos for Burton's Alice movie. They do make me want to see it. Everything about it looks creepy and deranged, which is usually Burton at his best. I hope the plot is as good as the visuals, though. Burton's stories are usually not as in depth as his art design. But this one's based on a classic book, so I have high hopes.

I'll keep checking in on your culturazzi page. I now have a new reviewer to keep up with. Keep up the good work!

Hey friend! Haven't been on in a while. Been writing like crazy, but I just sent my next book off to the publisher and I'm ready to chill out with a good book. Are you all caught up on Lost now?

Aah, so I guess I won't mention the aliens and the killer squid *just kiddin*

4400..I rememer seeing the first couple episodes when that started, but I haven't seen it since. Didn't even know it was still going. I guess it's pretty good then? I remember the basic concept about alien abductees returning with new powers, but I don't recall much else. When Lost isn't on I've been keeping up with Fringe, which keeps getting a little cooler with every episode, although it's not quite Lost quality yet.

Hey! I guess the only reason i found DG slightly disappointing is because having been exposed to the amazingly creepy and provocative leaps of imagination that Barker is capable of, i found it slightly Limited in it's reach. A tad under done, if you will. Still imminently readable though! And, yeah, i'm sold on Barker. :)

Pre-booking Gargoyle & Poppy Shakespeare. By the way, my hunt was more eclectic. Yours is just predictable. Horror, horror, horror, horror and then some horror again. But of course there is nothing wrong about it. ;-)

Thanks for the recco! I'll definitely check out Dark Delicacies. I love good short story collections. I just finished one a whole back called From the Borderlands that really impressed me.

And yes, I'm a total Lost nerd. Can't wait for it to start up again. I'm already keeping up with any little tidbits I find on the web (like this morning I read that the Claire character won't be in Season Five at all). Right now I'm making do with Fringe, which seems like it has a lot of potential, even if it's not Lost caliber (most series aren't.)

If you're up to date on Lost you'll have to let me know where you think it's all headed. I have some ideas, but I don't want to spoil anything for anybody either. I'm glad I found you on here, tho. I can telll you'll be a fun one to talk good books/TV with :)

I know, right? The Gunslinger almost feels like a prequel to the rest of them. To me, the story really got its feet in the second one. The third one was awesome and then the fourth kinda dragged a little. Then the last three were all really well done. The only part of the last 3 I didn't care for was the way King brought himself into the story. I could see what he was trying to do, but it still felt way too distracting. Sounds lilke we'll have some good suggestions for each other...Try Dan Simmons sometime, especially "Summer of Night." It's like Stephen King's It, only done way better in my opinion.
