Oooh.... I am glad you liked it. The book, overall, may not be great, but certain parts touches you and remains with you. Waiting for your review :)
Sounds like a good reason. I haven't read much of Sherlock Holmes, so I don't know if I would do the same.Christie's books vary in quality. She resorts to the technique of describing the same incident through different characters and lets a discrepancy slip through these descriptions and the reader is supposed to catch it. But in some of books, she lets you down; she doesn't reveal one vital information needed to crack the puzzle. Let me think about which Christie book you should start with.
My God! You must be the only one of your kind who has read the most unusual books, but haven't read Agatha Christie. I am really curious now, how did this happen? You must have got a lot of opportunities to read Christie, why didn't you?
You haven't read any Agatha Christie? You are joking right?
I did visit Blossoms this weekend. I was tempted to pick up "Red" but then decided to spend the same money on some other books. Will wait till you get back :)I picked up Name of the rose and Garp in Blossoms. I had to search for Garp for more than half an hour, which was fruitful because I found a used copy for 100 bucks. I recently finished Shadow of the wind, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Glad you liked the novel. What did you think about the ending?
