    Hi Leanne!

I see you have Lori Foster's THE WINSTON BROTHERS on your shelf and thought you'd be interested to know she has a brand new Winston story featured in a new anthology.

First Time In Print - DOUBLE THE HEAT

Sizzling all-new stories, including a brand new Winston novella from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster.

New York Times bestselling sensations Lori Foster and Deirdre Martin and USA Today bestselling authors Elizabeth Bevarly and Christie Ridgway join together for this enticing anthology. With authors like this, readers get double the pleasure and double the heat. In these four sexy stories of mixed-up couples and mistaken identities, it's not about winning, but how much you like to play.

With a brand-new novella featuring Hart Winston, whose switch with his identically hot twin brother has landed him in some serious foul play, it's a safe bet that in the game of love no one is going to follow the rules.

    Excerpt at www.LoriFoster.com

If you get a chance to read it, please let Lori and I know what you thought!

Suzanne Brockmann books are navy SEALs meet romance. i like that mix. action drama suspense and romance. her popular series are troubleshooter series. she has 2 series based on two different SEAL teams. i like to read the books in a series in order but each story is independent with recurring characters that have their own novels as well.
Georgette Heyer's appeal to me is her innocent and spunky regency heroines. i like the romantic regency setting and outspoken females. she does not write in series . 2 books are related. i started with "these old shades" and then the sequel "devil's cub". she also writes suspense which is kind of ok.

Noticed you read Daphne Du Maurier. When I was in college I read all of her books. Loved them. Maybe I should read a couple again.

Hi - I'm flabbergasted at the reading some people do - you're one of them! Because of the space I live in, both in Mass. and here in FL, I try to keep the amount of books on hand to a manageable amount, but they're so needed by me. I have a 5-shelf stand in my Mass. room and four shelves here in FL., a few books in my bedroom and always one going, at least. You have so many, both listed here and physically, at home! I always thought I read a lot but it's diddlysquat compared to some, I guess. Often, lately, I've seen notes you've posted that indicate you're reading sometimes a book a day! I've done that but not often. The last book I read took me about 5 days because I was so addicted to this site!!! Can't do both read and be on the computer. Today, I'mm supposed to be going to a movie in the late afternoon but as it is I haven't even gotten showered/dressed because I decided to check my emails! My cereal is getting soggy, too - maybe just telling you my situation will spur me to get going.

I've never heard of that type of library card. Things have changed so much since I was using the library - and now it's aggravating to me to think of doing that! I don't want to be told when to read/return a book - isn't that odd? I have shelves of them and just pick one when I want, and that's just fine with me.
Florida's weather has been okay the past few days - you have to know that I'm a warm weather person. If it's hot/muggy I usually won't be the one complaining. I got here about 10 days ago and we've had dry, then muggy, then a bit of rain, then cool temps, now in the mid-70's. The gamut. As long as the sun's out it's fine with me, really - and I've often said that the Florida sun knows how to do its job. I'll be flying home for Christmas (2 wks) and that will be enough of N. Eng. for me!

I was just roaming, and in that process looked at your bookshelf (hope you don't mind!). You have lots of books on it -- and you seem to stick to an author and read many of their books. I skip around, and in the process have lots of authors. But there are some (Laverle Spencer is one and Catherine Anderson another, also Judith Michaels) where I've read all the books they've written, like you. I often wonder if Judith Michaels (that's a husband/wife team) will ever write another. And I own all Spencer's and Anderson's books and won't part with them! You seem to really like Sandra Brown. I've read several of hers but didn't put any on my shelf because I can't recall which ones they are. Maybe one day I'll go in and get the list/synopsis of all and be able to add them.

I've already read 8 Sandpiper Way, and the Cedar Cove Christmas one I'll hope to get at my neighborhood bookstore.

I live (spring/summer) in Eastern Mass. - Taunton. I visit my sister in w. spring-field often during my months in Mass. Now I'm in Florida until May. That's been since 1995, when I lost my husband and we'd just bought a mobile home here, so I decided I'd enjoy some warm seeing as I'd lost my other half. God's been good go me. I've got fairly good health and a little extra $$ to live just fine for a few more years. I'm in my late 70's and have lots of friends here in FL, so I'll not complain.
This is a good site - I've spent many an hour building up my shelves and getting new ideas from others' shelves. Two of my family are members, too.
