Thanks so much for accepting my friend request. While I have you here, I was wondering . . . would you be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao ... it is written in a voice that sounds just like Junot Diaz's real one. He uses footnotes to give the backstory on Dominican Republic history so I'm learning something along the way. Fierce characters!

Hi from across the water! Are you enjoying The Nature of Jade? I always appreciate Deb Caletti's take on teenagers. I think Honey, Baby, Sweetheart was my favorite. I've been living up to my screen name lately--only one book in October!

I just read an amazing book called Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum. I don't know if it is your type of book but the members in my book group loved it. BTW, if you ever want to join a yahoo book club let me know. Its fun, we each read what we want, and swap ideas.
