I do love a good book, but it seems all manner of internet content is stealing me away from books lately. I would love to set a goal for 2009 to read all the books on my TBR shelf. I do love a good book, but it seems all manner of internet content is stealing me away from books lately. I would love to set a goal for 2009 to read all the books on my TBR shelf. Some of those have been in the queue for a loooong time so guess we'll see what happens. I would like to clear out the clutter if nothing else and when Nancy Pearl said in a radio interview that she rarely keeps books anymore, it inspired me to do just that! I am so grateful that I live in a bookish area which draws in authors. Hearing them speak about their process and read from their books is really quite thrilling. I nearly swooned over Leif Enger. So that's my October '08 update, now let's go read.
