    Hi L.A Wood,

    Soldier Gone:

In this short story a soldier name John leaves his family to go away to a war, but doesn't realize how much he really loves them until something unsettling happens to him. In the short suggestive story Soldier Gone the reader is left to decide just how, and in what way is the soldier John Daniels is Gone!

Soldier Gone is basically a complementary bonus to the Psychological theme that the main book Defender brings. It has 3 chapters, and is about 13-14 pages long.

A small independent game based off the short story is also in the development, and with our fingers crossed will soon become available for both the iPhone and PC.

For more info on Defender, please check out if you haven't already the video trailer; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nYa37hB_4s

She means to add her book to the group shelf for "All New Authors" and make some comments in some of the discussions.

Also, if yours doesn't fit under some of the Genre threads already started, make your new thread and put your book in it. Jump right in and have fun. If you need my help, just tell me the book and the Genre and I'll set it up for you.

Each author is supposed to put in his/her own book(s) because we don't want books there from anyone who isn't a member and isn't taking part in the discussions. We really want the info out there on the books so the readers can make informed decisions. This is what should make this group unique!

    Thanks for your interest!

I have started a new group for new authors. It's called "All New Authors" and has a sunrise as a group icon. It's purpose is to give new authors a place to really talk about their books. Then attract readers who are looking for new material to come and check it out so they can decide if they're interested in reading the new authors. It is also becoming a good support group for new authors who are struggling with marketing and other issues. Come check us out, join, add your book(s) to the shelf and join in the discussions.

I might give it a go next year if it just happens to fall in the midst of me writing a new novel. Given the choice I'd rather take my time and get it right, or maybe I'm just missing the point.
