The language is very informal, as a non-native speaker, I was disappointed by the grammar and style. The moral of this book is below zero, the "good" soldier, the "bad" drug dealer, the "conspirating" communist, the "cruel" viet kong, and all this army slang. After reading 10 pages, I gave up reading.

Months later, I re-started it, and I ended up loving the main personnage, Kelly, a kind of Rambo-Terminator, I just could not stop reading. The suspense is intense, until the last page I have really being reading day and night, this is why I am giving 5 stars to this book.

If you like thriller, you may be hooked too !

Women are incredible, they all feel they understand what her girlfriend is thinking and even if they love each other and they are their best friends, they are hiding tragic facts...

Delightful ! Easy to read for a non-native speaker

I have been so much seduced by the first book of Fitznek called The Therapy.

It is challenging to understand what is real and unreal, how the kid is related to the lost kid of the advocate, and it is a good thriller after all.

I hesitate to put "only" four stars because it is not as much psychological as the Therapy and a little bit more a traditional thriller with inquiries and policemen.

Fairly easy to read in German for a non-native speaker.

I think it is a good book to learn about Linux on servers. The numerous of well known services for printing, mail and login are review and I could follow the examples pretty successful

I bought this book for my African spouse and I did read it first. It is very easy to read and the true story is touching. It was a pleasure to read it from first to last page. Lucia Engombe did study in Ost Germany and is now journalist.

I have read half of this book yet but I am not too much an art fanatic. However I enjoyed the Rheinfelden Thermal baths very much, which salt water swimming pool and amazing saunas, so I enjoy the murder happens to kill in exactly that pool :)

It is one of the first thriller I did read in German. I would not read it again as I now know how it ends, but I enjoyed it very much and was very surprised by the end.

The crude details will probably be more appreciated by male readers

The story of the house keeper in a chic area and this little girl who wants to commit suicide for her next birthday is just to cute. The author has a blog muriel.barbery.net and is fascinated by Japan.

PS: probably a bit challenging is French is not your mother tongue
