lovely to find another Gary/Ajar fan here! I just thought of adding books in French. He would be mad to see 'La vie devant soi' listed under Gary. Oh well. An amazing book by anyone, goddess help whoever tries to translate that! 'Madame Rosa se defendait...' how would one begin? I've had 'L'Allee du Roi' on my actual wood shelf for years, perhaps seeing it your virtual one will intice me to crack it open.
