"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library."
- Jorge Luis Borges
"The proper study of mankind is books."
- Aldous Huxley
My nickname at school was "Nose-in-a-book." I devour books. I mainly enjoy fantasy/science fiction, but I'll read anything if it's interesting, and sometimes I'll read books that are not.
My TBR list on shelfari can be found at:

I enjoy reading (obviously), writing, drawing, traveling, music, and learning languages. I like to ride my bike, play horrible tennis, attempt to run, and do pilates and yoga. Cooking and nutrition also also passions, although I'm usually lazy and eat far too many sandwhiches.
I'm a senior in college and am majoring in English with a Creative Writing option. I take far more classes than I should in an endeavour to graduate a year early. I currently spend 4 months a year in the UK, and plan on moving to Scotland in August when I marry my fiance. I plan to go into either publishing or technical writing until I can perhaps one day publish a book or two. I started writing more often in 2007, and already it has caused me to look at books in a completely different way and pick apart books to an ever greater extent.
Note: The books on my shelf are the ones I've read, but don't own many of them (I'm 20 and poor). The books on my reading list are ones I own but haven't read, and the books under I own are my textbooks and reference books.
