Thank you, Lara for your concerns. I realize that these things are important today and I am working on them as we speak, but I have many irons in the fire, as they say, and that hampers my progress. Soon I will start a blog on Blogger.com.
Is a "Fan Page" different from a normal facebook page?
I'm not familiar with Goodreads, but I will go look today.

The "Book Extras" tab is on the book page on your Author Central Account (authorcentral.amazon.com). If you don't have an account there, it's easy to set up, and easy to link your books. Once you link your author page to your books, you can click the link to Shelfari under "Book Extras", and you'll be identified as an author.

    Lara,

I will try The Razor's Edge or Ashenden, which ever I can get my hands on first from the local book store. From the one novel I have read the gift for the craft, the utter confidence and competency with the language was obvious. I'm curious. What can you say about his female characters that is different than those found in the work of others?

    Lara,

I envy admire the breadth of your reading of Maugham. I've only read Cakes and Ale. What do you recommend for me to try next.
