    Just a short note to say hello and wish you and yours a happy and safe July 4th. I am getting ready to go to my parent's home town to attend a family reunion with my mom's family. My son and daughter-in-law and two grandkids are joining us for the mini vacation this weekend. My little Tinkerbell will celebrate her 5th birthday on Thursday. She and her brother had their party the weekend before Father's Day. Their theme was a World Championship Phillies, with a T-ball game, popcorn, cracherjack, and hot dogs and of course theliquid refreshment of your choice (had to show your ID to prove age in the choice of beer or wine) soda and juice boxes were unlimited to all. A fine time was had by all who attended. Can't wait to see what next year brings. They celebrate both birthdays with one big party, their birthdays are close together so one party is easier on mom and dad. But cake and ice cream on the actual day is a must!!We leave Friday for a weekend of fun and fireworks. Chat again soon. Gayle

    Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but I have been sidelined due to ill health but things are looking up now and I hope they stay that way. I see that you have Lois Battle's books on your TBR shelf. I also have these books waiting their turn to come to the top of my TBR. I will be waiting to hear what you think of them, maybe we will read them at the same time?! Right now I am almost finished reading a first book by a friend of my son. It is a mystery and so far I am finding it very compelling, the aurthor is a police officer with my son. This is his first book "FATHER'S DAY by Keith Gilman" if you like mysteries give it a try and let me know what you think. My little "tinkerbell" graduated from pre-school last Friday and it was also her dad's birthday, so we had a big cookout to celebrate, it was a great start to the holiday weekend. I had to spend today resting to regain my strength, but it was worth it. I will chat again soon, keep reading and enjoy life.

    Thank you for accepting a friendship. Your avatar caught my eye, it fits my granddaughter to a T. She is little ladytink. Her favorite Disney character is Tinkerbell, so much so she has named their cat Tinkerbell. The Princesses don't do much for her but she loves Tinkerbell. She gets called TinkyLink by the family, her tinkerbell fairy costume is her favorite and only dress, she will willingly wear, she is a pretty little tomboy.Her only girly trait is her love of flip-flops and having her toenails painted (of course she must have a design on them too) Her G.G. is a sucker for letting her have want she wants( she is the only granddaughter, I have three grandsons) I just wanted to drop a line to say hello and will chat again soon.
