Welcome back and I am back also. It is strange how much I have been away from town this year. I do have the garden put to bed for winter and have picked up my needlepoint and my paint brushes. Reading is continual of course. Now I am trying to do some catch up with listing and reviewing. I hope you are well.

Hi Jackie, the proceedure on my spine was aborted. He said I was too fat, so why did he get me to the stage where I was in and having needles stuck in me before he changed his mind???

    Hi Jackie,
Maybe I already asked you this, if so, apologies. Have you read a book called The
Egyptian? I read it more than 50 years ago, but a period novel that is well written is not dated. It was also made into a movie which I saw but don't remember very well. The Author is Mika Waltari.

    Hi Jackie
Saw your post about reading for your twelve year old son. I have sent my 11 to 12 year old granddaughter some books from Amazon. Since I know her I knew she would like them. So if He has not read them and you won't know, you can get them from library. I read them at his age, but they are available if your library has a city wide trading system. Conrad Richter: a trilogy ;the Trees, The Fields, The Town.
I believe one of them one a Pulitzer, Books by A. J. Cronin. If any suggestion plays out, I can recommend more as I remember what I read in the sixth grade better than what I read last week. BTW none of these are children's books, nor are unsuitable for the young mind.

    Hello Jackie,
Thanks for your note, glad to hear that you like and believe in crystals. Yes, maybe I can help you somewhat with crystals. For me, I have a great love of them. Have about eight or more crystal books, haven't got them all on my shelf as yet. Started with one little crystal that a friend gave me a long time ago, now have quite a few, have also given many away to other people, including people that I didn't know. They can aid in healing, and help brind abundance, you can carry some of them with you, in pockets or handbags, or wear as jewellery. Or just have in various places in your home or workplace. Have a great day and week. Love and best wishes from Rosemary
