An excellent insight into the inner turmoils of a woman trying to live with her overweight and unhappy existence. Would read again. It's a shame Wally Lamb's other book wasn't as good as i really loved this.

This is without doubt one of the best books I've ever read. I can only describe it as a wonderful story and most beautifully written. It took me a couple of pages to realise if I read it in an Irish accent the book just comes to life. A stunning read and one for prime position on my bookshelf!

This is a must read. Fascinating, devestating, amazing.. A man escapes a russian jail during WWII and walks to freedom thousands of miles across Russia and Asia. Unbelievable and brilliant all in one.

This is one hell of a long long long book. Interesting and beautifully descriptive. For anyone who's ever been to India it will no doubt, bring back all the smells, noise and chaos that is so wonderfully part of the appeal. However, I found it was very repetitive and almost boring in parts. A book for the boys me thinks...

Fantastic read and historical which is my cuppa tea. All about the secret language used by Chinese women who believe me didn't have much bloody fun otherwise! Defo a read for the ladies!
