Currently Reading: "She-Wolves" by Helen Castor
I am extremely lucky and actually work in a bookshop so I can get my hands on books quite easily. I am pretty much open to any books, except for romance (though I do admit reading some of it. I am more into the Young Adult ones [Twilight will forever only factor as a brilliant and imaginative world being imagined by the author, but the actual characters...grr]), but every now and then I will dip my foot into the adult genred one), and will read anything. I read through quite a bit of children's (as that is my section at work), and can be found nosing my way through True Crime quite a bit. Crime Fiction, not so much, unless you count my extensive collection of Agatha Christie in book form and DVD.
I've grown to love History books, given to me by my dad, and am working my way through Henry VIII and his six (alleged) wives, along with their families. From there, I'm branching out to Richard III (Princes in the towers), Eleanor of Acquitaine and am searching for anything decent on Margaret of Anjou and Lucretia Borgia but having not much luck (So, if anyone has any recommendations for either of these, please send me a note).
So, if anyone have any ideas of books that I might enjoy, please send me a message. I am open to suggestions, so if it is something outside of my usual genre, I might still read it.
