Greetings! I am a 24-year-old formerly home schooled daughter living happily at home with my family in beautiful North Idaho.

I love studying God s Word, riding my horse, hiking with my dog, raising sheep, being a farm girl, reading, history (especially Scottish history) sewing, crocheting, music, singing, babies, wearing skirts, laughing, watching classic movies and web graphic design, among other things.
I've loved reading ever since I first learned how, and devoured books at an astonishing rate while my poor mother tried in vain to keep me supplied with good books. That hasn t changed, except that now I can pick out my own reading material, much to my mother s relief;) Historical fiction is my favorite genre, but I'll read pretty much anything providing it s clean, and the romance isn't sappy. Novels, biographies, animal husbandry, gardening, do it yourself, etc. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, G.A. Henty, James Fenimore Cooper, Louisa May Alcott, Baroness Orczy, C.S. Lewis, Laura Ingalls Wilder, L.M. Montgomery, James Herriot, Charles Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and many others, but I don't want to bore you;)
It is my earnest desire to serve the Lord in all that I do and say, do His will, and, with His help and by His grace, be a godly woman. br/ br/ br/ {Just to let you know, I do not accept friendship requests from men (unless I know you in real life) and I also will not accept if you have Harry Potter or Twilight on your shelf. No offense intended.}
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:11-14
