    You got him.. he is just hot Hot HOT... I am surprised that the scenery is melting behind him ! lol

    Things change in this book.. I wasn't thrilled by it but there needs to be something new going on now that Bishop is gone. Plus there are two more books to go. I just hope she resolves this soon lol. No more spoilers ! Myrrin is hilarious. He needs his own book !

    Cowboys .... YUM !!! I think I am getting my friend Heather hooked on cowboys :)

    I thought I was taking a break but I think I need to read Grave Secret by Charlaine Harris next .. I don't think I can keep it longer than a week.. then me & my Shadow..by KM.. Funny stuff at last !!

    You totally amaze me with all the reading you are getting in !

    Vampire assassins... harlequins... ahhhh I know I am missing out by not reading LKH. But I read her Merry books :)

    oh yes ! I have been on the hunt for something hot.. still nothing ! lol.. But I am content to start at the hot yummy guys that everyone is putting up..your guy is just smokin !!!

    It is like Myrrin does a reverse swan dive off the high board of reality.. one minute ok.. next he is running around in fanged bunny slippers ( I would like a pair but I digress) Myrrin is like my comedy relief in this series.. Ada is just weird. A vampire computer? over a hundred years old... interesting plot device. The gang is all there.. Have you read any of the shorts on her website? I wouldn't rush to read it but it is interesting.

    Me too !! I am hoping Sarah McCarty can keep the series going ! Love me some cowboys ! All day long ! I wonder what she will do next with this guys !!

    Honestly, I would wait on the Rogue Mage series.. The ending was a bit strange on Seraphs.. I am going to wait until January to read Host. I rather need a break from UF. I still have Red by Jordan Summers but I am waiting until next week to read it.. I need some funny stuff for a while to get over all Serphs.. Don't get me wrong.. Good book but complicated..

    I really love the LKH titles.. Blood Noir, Narcissus in Chains, Harlequin, Circus of the Damned... Skin Trade.. Really who else can name a book with such aplumb & be descriptive at the same time? Kiddos !

    I wasn't expecting to to be great. I have a confession. Sometimes the book cover will make me cringe and say "i'm not reading that". It is a habit I'm trying to get out of because I really did love the VA series. It was great! But the snotty looking girl on the first cover didn't do much for me. The rest just looked cheesy, but again, most are so I have to get over it. Yes, Dimitri is hot! What else would ensnare you??

    Ha, my family still complains. Oh well. I guess they get what they get.

    Very rare. I could use one this weekend. I had a talk with Jeremy's aunt (his mom's sister) and we were talking about how much she keeps doing this. I told her she needs to find a way to say, I'm lonely, not come over and fix stuff for hours so I can see you. It gets old. I just hate going over there, her house being torn apart, no where to sit while she wants to have a girl chat while Jeremy works very hard doing the stuff she could do. It doesn't seem fair. I want to help but she scoffs at me and tells me it's men work. Maybe it is just the difference of our generations. I grew up to be independent. She grew up to rely on anyone but herself.

    I definitely will read more Lora Leigh, the girl is a genius with men!

    I haven't gotten far, I fell asleep early last night. But I did get far enough for the break down with Nathaniel. Poor kit! He just wants his Anita in all ways! I got a few more, but I can't believe I'm almost done either! I sometimes have a problem with the number in her bed, not really who, but hey, I understand the storyline. She isn't cheating on anyone.

    Yep the Glass House residents are there. There is a bit of a cliffhanger but nothing major.. It has an off feel.. I hated this one character.. You will meet her .. ugh... Nasty piece of work. But it is a good book.. It is interesting what will happen next.. Myrrin is stranger than ever lol

    You are right. I think if Ari is Tracker's HEA I don't think his book will be next.. I think McCarty will wait until almost the end of series to find her. It seems to be more of thread in each book.. I am just guessing because I don't have an confirmation on it. But Desi had her baby.. ohhhh.... more babies will be there on Hell's 8 !!!

    I am over halfway done with Seraph's it is a good book ! I am liking it so far ! My library doesn't have Host, so I am going to wait to read it.. Probably in the new year.

    Wow !! You finished it in one night ~! You go girl !! that is tremendous ! I hope you enjoy LKH !

    I finished Vampire Academy, so I will move on to the next Anita. Tash, I really have to say, I really did love VA. I wasn't expecting to though. You know, too much high school drama, okay story lines, but really, it was great. Sometimes what leaves me wanting something better is the lack of growth you see in characters through a series. Not so with this one. It's not sudden but you can see how the main character grows. Not completely to make you think "yeah, right" but I do recommend them. Dimitri is hot! That should be another reason to move it up.

    I hope you like them, I found the storyline and plot to be a great twist on the vampire myths.

    I'm hoping so. I have asked everyone what they want and I get the "eh, whatever you think is fine." Which I hate. They want something but won't come out and say it. Oh well. I guess they get what they get then.

    That sounds great! My nephews party got rained out a couple hours in at the beginning of summer. So it's nice you adults got to hang out later and talk.

    I love rainy weekends, curled up in a warm blanket and a book on hand. But our weekends rarely go the way we want them to now. Jeremy's mom demands his time whenever he isn't at work and it is tiring. A little errand isn't so little with her, takes 45 minutes to get to her place and then after we are done, our night is gone. Weekends? She thinks we have nothing we'd rather do than do her work for her.

    I loved Soul deep! I have the rest in my tbr pile and I will get around to them eventually. I can't believe I am starting book 12 in Anita. But it is getting good. Now that I have had a sufficient 6 book break, time to start book 12.

    I enjoy reading series books as well I have been of course reading the lora leigh books as you can see from my book shelf lol... I am the worse in reading them out of order lol.. but they are all great books so far I have enjoyed them..lol..
    But I am also reading the series of Gena Showalter lords of the under world some have a hard time getting into them but once i got through the 1st chapter of the 1st book I enjoyed the rest very much.. but I am waiting for the next one to come out from that series
    I read recently the book by lora leigh loving lies I wish she would write the books on the other 2 friends but that I don't know it will happen since I believe it was published back in 2006. =0( and I try to pick up another books or a little harlequin book here and there just so I can calm the racing heart beat inbetween the books lol..

    Russell Crowe addict !! I have Gladiator on DVD but I still try to catch it when it is on TV... men in leather, large swords, running around on horseback.. huh what?? I went somewhere for a minute lol

    There wasn't much from Carpe Corpus ending in Fade Out.. I guess I had gotten used to the cliffhangers & the book ends, then begins again in the next book.. Rachel Caine could have ended the series with Carpe Corpus & I would have been ok..now it is like she is starting all over again lol.. I think there are two more books then she is ending Morganville.

    I think Tracker's HEA is Ari.. just a thought :)

    I am starting on Serphs by Faith Hunter. I am waiting until my next book for a steamier read ! lol.. Enjoy Kiowa !

    I'm so glad you had such a good weekend. Seems it was a lot more eventful than mine! See you're already doing the Xmas shopping. I haven't even started!! I'm such a slacker. That is so cute about your nephew. If only they stayed that young... they're so adorable at that age!! I'm afraid I'm not that great with kids though. Don't have any of my own and my two younger brothers were HELL on earth when they were growing up. Twins. Two really hyperactive boys instead of one...can you imagine that? I'm like...cured for life!!

    So yes, I'm starting Halfway to the Grave today. *doing a happy dance* Will let you know what I thought. You read a Jessica Bird book? I've only read one: The Billionaire Next Door. Have you read it? And how was Beauty and the Black Sheep?

    I haven't gotten back to Anita yet, but I plan to and am excited to later. I picked up Vampire Academy over the weekend and to be honest, I haven't done anything other than read this series for the last three days straight. I can't get enough! I'm almost done with the third book (10% to go) and OMG why didn't I know about this series sooner?? Amazing!

    Let me know what you think of the Blue Bloods when you check them out. I was on the fence when I was looking at them before I read them.

    Rules are a great thing. Yeah, most people hate them, but if they are reasonable then the kids should be happy and safe and disciplined. Not rowdy, happy and endangered.

    I haven't even started my shopping yet. I wish. Money is tight so I have no idea what I'm going to get everyone. How did the party go with your nephew?

    We didn't do much this last weekend. I finished Blue Bloods 4 and then Sunday started Vampire Academy and just couldn't do anything that didn't involve reading this series. Sad, yes, but it was great.

    Still even with a little rain, it sounds like a great day !

    Russell Crowe is usually very nice to look at..I haven't seen State of Play.. seems like it would be icky..R/C isn't looking all that yummy in the previews of it lol

    Fade Out was good.. Claire was in insecure mode for most of the book.. But I liked it ! I have to remember she is a teenager not an adult.. lol
    I really enjoy this series.. There are few any more that haven't disappointed at some point..But take your time with it.. you have tons of books to go ! :)

    That is fabulous !.. I know you love those boys dearly, so I am very glad that you got to spend some time with them on their special day. I hope the weather was good for the party !.. But I am tickled that you had so much fun... times like those make you appreciate life !

    I think it had the potential to be a great movie.. & realize the ending is open for a sequel but ewwwwww... I was rather turned off by it all. I like the regency area, but that movie made it boring.

    LOL I hope you enjoy !.. I finished my reread of Carpe Corpus & Fade Out.. good books !

    You're right... SO many recs to check out...I just decided my next series after Demonica is going to be Night Huntress... and right after NH I'm tackling the Argeneau. Can't wait to meet Cat and Bones. I swear my TBR pile is gonna explode one of these days. ;-D

    Why can't there be a place where you can find a nice guy without alot of issues??? I don't think that is alot to ask lol.. or better yet.. there is a machine that along with checking his credit, if you gives you an evaluation of his psyche & past dating history.

    ohhh I saw that movie ! I got it for an xmas present.. it got regifted lol.. I didn't like it either !

    ugh.. I am not sure the growing list is a good thing. But at least I have something to read ! I was worried for the longest time lol.. Now I getting nervous because my list is going.. damned if I do, & damned if I don't lol

    The ex was a weasel.. So glad he is the ex. lol.. But yes, he thought it was a good idea.. Open the store with my books & have a trade policy to get more. I told him then that he was nuts, & I still think that lol..

    I thought a Good Year was a very good movie.. Russell Crowe is always nice to look at ! But it was a sweet movie.. He is a stockbrocker who got his hands slapped for doing something dirty when he finds out his uncle died & left him everything.. in france. So he goes to France, finds an old chateau & vineyard. Sees an old girlfriend, & an old friend but has a great time. The book wasn't anything like that..

    I should! I know what I'm getting him, I don't know if he knows what to get me. I know what he needs.

    I finished it and OMG it was great! Now I'm moving on to The Van Allen Legacy in the Blue Bloods series. I have already heard it was bad, so I'm hoping that I still like it.

    I do love Asher, and I am glad they finally all came together. No pun intended.

    I don't mind her spoiling a grandchild in the three hours she has them, but if she were to want them for a weekend we'd need rules. And certain rules are not to be broken. I now have decided, well not now but for ages I have known, my children will not be introduced to pop. Bad habit. Water and juice. But the rest? Grandparents are supposed to spoil the children, but there are lines that should not be crossed.

    I'm thinking when he's older he'll be like his dad. He won't want a job nor will he apply for one. His dad is living with him and his other grandparents (his dad's parents) and they don't make him find work. They support him, give him money and he learns nothing. I think Bailey is in danger of following in those steps.

    There is no hurry! Blue Bloods will be there whenever you want to read them! I really do like them, but I'm hearing bad things about this one I started. I will have to read it and see if I agree.

    I will have to push that one up, I have had Sands' novels in my tbr pile for a while but never gave them a chance.

    Must be nice! Alot of places had yesterday off (wednesday) for veterans day. Jeremy and all his family had it off. We, however, did not. The courthouse was closed so I couldn't do anything. I felt useless. I read all day. And got paid for it. Sweet, yes?
