I love teaching a 5th grade boys Sunday School class and am on the puppet team at Parma Heights Baptist Church. I like playing tennis, bowling, watching sports...more »

    Hi there!

It's true, God uses our difficulties to draw us closer to Him. He gives us new things to face so we could ever hold on to Him as He gives us a guided tour! I might have said "Thanks" in the past for your wonderful message, but right now, I mean to say it for a second time because God made it really sooo meaningful as I chanced upon it again. What is sure is that God really desires a relationship with us, and to do that, He gives us challenges and throws us into unfamilliar territory just so to assure we don't get too comfortable to forget about His love.

    God bless you.

    Have a great day. :)

    Hello
I put Hiss and Tell: True Stories from the Files of a Cat Shrink on my plan to read pile. Looks like a good book. I have three little darlings and maybe this will help explain some things they have done or do. LOL

    Hi Karen,
My sister, Natalee, has a website for dogs and I saw that you had commented her page! What a small cyber world we live in now!!

I posted a discussion about spiritual warfare in a couple of our Christian groups. I'd love to know if you have had similar experiences.

    Blessings,
    Evonne

Good Reads has chosen a selection for our August book. By a landslide victory we will be reading James Patterson's SUNDAYS AT TIFFANY'S.

Dear Karen: I am a writer from Haverhill. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING just hit the bookstores in April. I am busy promoting while I would much rather be finishing my next novel. HUNTING features Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. SDhe never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is burined under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating cobsequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks from a newcomer. Peter
