The "Cat Who..." books are okay for light reading. They're some of the stuff I read whenever I don't want to get too absorbed in fantasy or sci-fi universes -- more down-to-earth than anything else. The fact that they're mysteries still means that you're using your head whenever you read them, which is pretty good.
