“I get it, life is dismal. Some people call McCarthy's prose a direct reflection of the content he is writing about. I call it lazy. How about throwing in some quotation marks from time to time. Also, when you're writing a book that is supposedly original and groundbreaking how about leaving out the sappy ending?
