Kya

My name is Kassandra, but to many I am known as Kya. I love to read and write. I have a deep love of random cute things and adore spending time dreaming up delightful characters for children’s books. But do not let my love of sweet things fool you, my favourite characters are usually those that are dark, complicated and hold a hunger for what is... more »

A wonderfully splendid presented book with information about dreams and nice graphics to accompany them. The detail in most cases is quite limited, but I love this book regardless.

This book is filled with a wealth of information and has been one of the best I have found on the subject of Magick and Witchcraft and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone that is interested to learn more without the myths or misconceptions.

  • 10,000 Dreams Interpreted: A Complete Guide to the Meaning of Your Dreams
    • Rated 3 stars

Quite a good book, it was one of my first dream books and was used a lot. You will find that it’s always good to have a number of different dream books because the most often will say different things. But I do believe this book was good, although at times the meanings may have been slightly askew.

This was just marvellous. Most of the time you will purchase books that talk about all the good qualities that your star sign does so possess but this one, it delves with the darker and dirty side if you will. Dishing your bad traits, negative aspects and your downward spirals all on a plastic platter of devious delight. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who is interested to view the other side, because it is tasty as well.

  • The Oracle Book: Answers to Life's Questions
    • Rated 5 stars

This book is great and I have found that it can become quite addictive. I had to take it away from a few members of my family because they began to use it obsessively but all in good fun. It can be a wonderful tool to also give an answer to any questions you may have, if used responsibly.

This book was recommended to me by a good friend and after seeing the movie which I thought was interesting I decided to give the book a go. I was very pleased with it, because you see two worlds, that which the girls lived in and the one the boys created about them and being so taken by them. The whole work was crafted so well and was just wonderful, I would recommend it to others as well!

  • Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants / Second Summer of the Sisterhood / Girls in Pants (3 Book Set)

This book was good, however at times I did find myself becoming slightly bored just a tad, more to the fact that I felt “to old” for the book. For anyone that really enjoys the teenage novel it is wonderful. I did find that my favorite character was Tibby, even if the way she dealt with some situations I found was frustrating.

I like this book and was quite pleased with it. I often found myself even becoming confused with who I liked out of the main characters and felt like I was taken along for the ride emotionally as well. I look forward to the next book in the series.

From the books I have read in the series to date this would have to be my favorite. I liked that we became more familiar with a number of characters in the series, and were able to spend more time with one that I found myself more attached too. You do get to see a different side to the characters and I found it very interesting and highly enjoyable.
