Hahahaha, YES! The t one! Marlfox had so much potential. . .and FAILED TO MEET EXPECTATIONS! Also, I *loved* Martin in Mossflower and HATED him in Martin in the Warrior. And Mariel? The dumb mouse who slams people with a knotted rope? NO!
ANYWAY, no it isn't wrong that you skip the aimless songs because I gave up on those. My favorites were Salamandastron, Mossflower, and Pearsl of Lutra. Redwall I enjoyed a lot, but Mossflower just holds that special place in my heart. I had all of them, but got rid of them. You regret these things sometimes ha ha. Like now. But they were so big (hardcover) that they just had to go. :(
To answer your question: No chipmunks or raccoons in England. What would BJ do with a raccoon??? They're omnivorous. OMG, something not along the clear lines! And forget badgers! Pshp! They'd probably be badgers worst nightmare. Maybe I liked salamandastron because I liked the pretty villians.
Now, more importantly, WHY DO DEER GET SHAFTED? Curious minds WANT TO KNOW!
Maybe because they're the kings hunt? Maybe because he felt. . .they'd be villians?
MAYBE HE WAS TRAUMATIZED BY BAMBI??
Good Omens by Terry Pratchet? I believe? Nice. I started reading it, and it's fun and witty, but I find him (as much as I love reading him) very vague plotwise. Like meandering road plotwise. So I often read ten pages, put it down, pick it up 10 months later, etc.
Hahaha, I LOVED those books. My favorite was Mossflower. The rest, I just got SO FED UP by the time Pearls of Lutra came out by the IF YOU ARE THIS SPECIES, YOU ARE GOOD, and the other one. . .with the otter raised by ferrets or something? I just stopped reading because I couldn't take it. HI, nature vs nurture. You clearly are all about nature.
ANYWAY, adoooreed that series haha.
