The History Non-Fiction Group is voting for the Oct-Dec Quarterly Group read. We've had several interesting books nominated. Please take a look and vote if you'd like to join in.

Thanks for your note. It's no surprise that more folks have not read Schuyler--people tend not to want to think through issues, preferring to cling to sound bites and one-liners. But some of us foist him on as many minds as possible. Glad to see you are in that group, and I hope you will write a review of Black No More once you've read it. Enjoy!

Ok...thank you very much. I would appreciate it. I'm working on a project to help local philadelphia elementary schools restore their libraries. Do you know any way I can get the community and public involved or have any tips to help me? That would be helpful

Hey, I must've missed a great documentary. Your shelf is interesting as well....seems like you like history and/or African studies. I am too as well as the study of any and all culture!!!

    Hi Kwami,

Thanks for the invite. You've got quite an extensive bookshelf. What are you reading right now? I'm reading Proofs & Theories by Louise Gluck and Gardening at the Dragon's Gate. I look forward to hearing from you.
