I now have a Kindle, an Audible subscription, and the local bookstore to support. Sometimes I have a book in all three formats, and I've been known to go back and forth.

“So many things I like about her books. The characters are well drawn. Their behavior and motivations make sense. Although this book was written from Liam's POV, I felt like I knew (and liked) the other characters. Liam's decision made sense to me (I think it was the the tagine). ”

“Unless you have already read a lot about Custer (preferably recently), I can't recommend this book. I thought it meandered. Get to the battle! Too many peripheral players. And I never got a good sense of Sitting Bull. 2.5 stars.”

The Sense of an Ending

The Tower, The Zoo, and The Tortoise

“I ended up likiing this better at the end than I did for about the first half. The writing is very British and fun. Great humor. The characters are quirky and over the top. It's a funny story but sad too. A cute light but literary read. With animals!”
