I've never been overseas but my wife and I are determined to visit the UK. I enjoyed Pears book and hope it picks up for you.

dang that was a quick reply. the only thing i really remember about the bell jar is she is at a bar and she doesn't know what to drink and all she remember is this ad for vodka in a glass. So she order straight up vodka not even on the rocks.

do you own the bell jar or the chuck book you have listed on your plan to read list? Because if you don't have those, I owe them and will let you borrow them if you want.

I also do classics, too. I have been attempting to work chronologically but I always get side tracked. Anyway, I highly recommend you bump Frankenstein up on your list. I listen to audio books while at work, and when i listened to Frankenstein i cried throughout almost the whole entire thing, but mostly it was the monsters side of the story that really made me let loose and bawl. It's sooooo good!

I respect your opinion. My problem was mainly with the way the men treated Mina--especially this one scene where they all kneeled before her and she like, knighted them or something.

Have you read Frankenstein? I frickin' loved it!
