I am a Frugal Reader Member and have heard great things about Shelfari so thought I would give it a try. I am trying to put my TBR pile on my shelf here. I am adding books slowly.

Dear K: I am guessing the ME means Maine. I'm from Portland. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING came out in April. I'll be doing various book signings/readings in the general area in October through December. The story revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O’Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you get the chance, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter

Dear K: Based upon your bookshelf and your membership in the Suspense & Thriller readers' group, I am hoping you will have an interestd in my debut novel, HUNTING THE KING. It's coming out in two short weeks, and I am busy promoting it, as you can see. Hope you don't mind. Here are the details:

HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus and his daughter. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.”

To get a good sense of the thrill ride, watch the heart-pounding book trailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com.

While the novel won’t be available until April, you can find it on Amazon.com or on several other web sites. I hope you’ll take a look and give me your thoughts. I truly appreciate every response I get. Thanks.
