After looking at your current reads, I am less surprised by your Stranger in a Strange Land recommendation.
Kristin -- I must admit, I haven't taken the time to really look at the Shelfari site yet, but it looks intriguing. I found a fascinating job online yesterday, after deciding I don't really want to bother with a job hunt for awhile, so I spent the last 36 hours composing a new cover letter and changing my resume to eliminate the extraneous and just give them what they want. I probably won't even hear from them, but what they want really matches my experience of the last 10 years, so it seemed worth a shot.By the way, I have a website. I created it just to post some photos of quilting in case I ever have a chance to give my quilting business card to someone who wants to hire a quilter -- I can tell them where they can see some of my work, so it's a one-topic thing, but if you'd like to see some of my quilts, take a look. I had to eliminate everything I've quilted that someone made from a pattern or book, leaving just traditional quilts and blocks, so I couldn't use my best photos.
