I love to read! But then again if you are here you do as well. Heehee. I'm not picky about my books, as long as it keeps my interest I will read it. Though sometimes I have a hard time not finishing a book... even if it is boring me to tears. I think there have only been 4 or 5 in my lifetime of reading.

This is one of the best books I've read in a while. It evokes strong emotions ranging from saddness to anger. Hosseini's characters bring his story to life. Afghanistan is described both before and after the Taliban, and shows how the effects of war tears a country and it's people apart. This is a definite must read!

This book was just okay. It held my interest and was a quick read, but I just wasn't all that impressed with it. The story is a twist off of Arabian Nights, which I haven't read. Overall, it was an okay read, but not one that I would necessarily recommend to others.

A magical love story woven through a "cookbook". I loved the format this story was written! The recipes sound wonderful with the preperation twisted through the story. This is a quick and enjoyable read. Though some may disagree, I felt the ending was perfect.

I really enjoyed this book. While the obvious subject was sad, the underlying story of love was heartfelt. I loved reading in the plural narrator's perspective. The story kept alluding to what was going to happen in the end, which left you reading quickly to reach what happened.
