I love to read! But then again if you are here you do as well. Heehee. I'm not picky about my books, as long as it keeps my interest I will read it. Though sometimes I have a hard time not finishing a book... even if it is boring me to tears. I think there have only been 4 or 5 in my lifetime of reading.

    Hi Kristie B ! I see that you are new to Shelfari so welcome! Also, welcome to Play Book Tag. I just wanted to give you a heads up about some of the activities that PBT has going on so that you can hopefully get involved! We love hearing what other people are reading and getting their reviews on books.

    The main activity (and the source of the group name) is a monthly tag. Every month we have a "tag": this month's tag is fairy tales. Any book you read that Shelfari has tagged as a fairy tale (or really any book that you think fits the genre) please post on our discussion thread entitled July Tag: Collective reads for our shelf. Lots of discussion will occur on this thread and the books you post with then be put on the PBT shelf.

    The second large activity we have going on is Tag It To The Max which starts tomorrow and runs through the end of August. It's a little lengthy to explain here but if you search our discussion threads for it you will find rules for the game. Basically, it involves being assigned a tag from Shelfari's top 200 tags and then reading a book for each consecutive tag.

    Other basic infomation about PBT, get-to-know-you games we usually play, and commonly asked questions can be found on the FAQ (which again you can find by searching our discussions).

    So, welcome again to the group...if you have any questions about the game feel free to post it in a discussion thread on PBT or you can drop me a note and I will find the answer for you! I noticed that you have a couple of Jodi Picoult books on your shelf. I always hear great things about them but I have yet to pick one up. I did however watch The Tenth Circle on Lifetime last night (did you happen to catch that?). It was pretty good. I also say that you have read Autobiography of a Fat Bride....hilarious! I don't know many people who have read it but it had me laughing out loud!
