I finished my degree, but at an appalling cost: I sacrificed recreational reading in favor of school textbook reading assignments, and I am finding that I am not the same reader I once was. Now I am trying to ease back into it with the short stories of Robert E. Howard, Lord Dunsany, and HP Lovecraft, with the occasional Doctor Who novel to test endurance for longer stories. Pitiful, huh? There have been some unfortunate setbacks, such as Chapterhouse: Dune, which was a month and a half long slog for me. It occurs to me that this would be a perfect place to blog about what I am reading at any particular time. I just can't find the button that allows me the option, oh well. « less
