Hi there! I'm Elizabeth (you can call me Queen Elizabeth, ha ha), and I'm 19 (can't wait to be 20). I'm currently a freshman at a local community college, and this spring will be my second semester. Despite loathing high school (I graduated in '06, in case you were wondering), I'm enjoying college so far. I plan to transfer to a four-year college, though I'm not quite sure where yet. At least I know my majors! Creative Writing and Japanese, baby :P.
*sing-song voice* These are a few of my favorite things!
- Above everything, I love God, my heavenly Father and Creator. Without him, I would be nothing.
- My family (especially my mom and sister who have been through thick and thin with me)
- My friends (especially my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Danielle and Hannah, whom I consider part of my family)
- My crazy pets (my tabby kitties, Hoshi and Rowyn, and my Shiba puppy, Takota)
- Writing, and I hope I'll be a well-known author someday! My genre of choice is fantasy fiction, but I'm planning on writing for both the Christian and secular market.
- Reading. I.love.books. Good ones, that is.
- Listening to music. A world without music would be horrible! My favorite types of music would probably be Christian, Pop (especially J-pop), Alternative Rock, Techno, Celtic, and various types of foreign music. Aside from all that, I'll listen to just about anything except for country, bluegrass, most rap (I have to admit, Will Smith is awesome), and heavy metal.
- Singing. I'm mostly a choir girl, but I'll sing anything (which doesn't mean I'm good at singing everything, lol) just because I enjoy singing. My favorite place to sing is in the car :D.
- Playing the piano. I haven't had lessons since I was like... 15, but I still enjoy playing.
- Japan! I love the culture, the people, the language, the food (for the most part, lol)... If all else fails, I would so be a missionary in Japan.
- Watching movies. I can't even tell you what my favorite movie is because I have SO many favorites.
- Playing video games. I know some girls who play video games don't like to admit it, but I'm definitely not ashamed, lol. I grew up with Nintendo, and I still play anything from Gameboy, to N64, to Gamecube. I have yet to play Nintendo Wii, but it looks exciting. I really like racing games (I'm actually pretty good at them, lol). My favorite games would have to be Golden Sun, Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, Sonic Adventure Battle 2, Super Smash Bros., Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Paper Mario.
- Don't even get me started on the Internet! It's my main source of distraction when I'm procrastinating... but aside from that, I like checking my e-mail and visiting my favorite sites.
