Ok, I admit, this was a "bored impulse" buy. I usually do not take to angelic or demonic or "witchy" books-- just don't get into them. However, This book has grabbed me by the throat and won't let go! I am supposed to be doing other things but am in the middle of reading instead. Had to tell SOMEBODY! about this novel. I am glad I bought the second novel as well because I will be needing it soon.

Oooo... I must admit, that as sweet as Ric is, I am a Snow junkie! I love Christophe! I can't wait for the third installment. Saint or Sinner??? I can't decide which I'd prefer...

I usually dislike "demon" novels, but this one not only held my attention, it actually has me looking forward to the second one. It isn't exactlly an 'enjoyable' read-- as it fits more into the horror genre than the romance genre, but it was an interesting read. Ione used a base of classical demon mythos and built an interesting paranormal world of good and evil from it. The good and evil are not exactly where you might think to find it either... I am recommending this for anyone who liked early Anita Blake (horror factor) and Lynn Viehl (for interesting plot-twist-mixtures and intricacy of plotlines)!

this is Valentin Jaus' story. And while it is an interesting story, it felt kinda like "reaching". Jaus' character underwent a complete turnaround and I can't say I really liked where his character ended up, and everything got neatened up a little too much, for my tastes, but it was worth the preview of Robin's story in the back...

Briggs Wilks and Chance!! This anthology I read cover to cover! Usually I buy an anthology for a single author in it and never get interested enough to read the other stories therein. Not so with this one! I even read Sunny's, though she didn't impress me. but the real jewels are the three first mentioned!!!

Briggs builds more in her Mercedes Thompson world.
Wilks takes us on a walk with a two legged Hell- Hound in a different part of her Lupi world. Nathan is a sweetie!!
Chance introduces us to the Dark Fey in the Fey Realm of her Vampire Senate series...

I usually gush over Linnea's books, but not this time. Barely held my interest. It was an interesting concept, but it was used as a plot what plot for a romantic interlude... I didn't get into it at all.

This was a great coming of age story. It mixed native American folk-lore with fantasy to create a nice mix of mystery and yet plausibility.

Like all of Holly's Demon World, this book pushes the envelope. If you like conventional romance, try a different title. This a wonderful addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one.
