I'm not saying that your library is heaven, but if it came with the right coffee, and maybe a Guinneas, it would do until heaven came along. Yeah, I'm a history nerd as well, though my interest lay dormant for a few decades. Nice shelf.

Have you tried the widget that's up above this note. Click the "Put your shelf on your blog" button above.

Check that out and then tell me what you want.. Feature requests or complete blue-sky thinking are both super helpful.

That last note should have been from me. I was logged in with a test account. Oops.

Thanks for mentioning Shelfari on your blog. We're getting ready to make some new tools for bloggers. I'd love your ideas/wish list if anything comes to mind.

hi kenneth! how do you feel about getting a message from a ferret? i couldn't be bothered to find variations on my name....you really ought to read more kiddy books........notice i have very few "smart" books on my shelf...as i feel that reading the book, but not remembering it, doesn't really count......and i have to say i really can't remember a whole lot! HAHAHA!

Hm...I always have a difficult time picking favorites! Favorite historical period would most certainly tilt towards Revolutionary America with a particular interest in the Founding Fathers. Most of my philosophy interests are rather narrow, economic philosophy, political philosophy, and quite a bit on theology. Where does Charles Taylor focus his thoughts? I'm not familiar with his work.

    Picture perfect?

So, History Nerd, what's the lastest book you've read ;) Or, should I pluralize that?

What a delightful shelf! Who is your favorite philosopher? And what is your favorite historical period to study?

Kenneth, you label yourself as a "history nerd." You have read a lot of books on theology. Of course, theology is a part of history so your label is appropriate. I am curious. Does your occupation have anything to do with theology? Karen

Have you added all of your books yet? And if so, how long did it take you? You and your IMPRESSIVE bookshelf...
