Who ever ordered this weather can have the job through March if they'd like. Still plugging along. Guess you are still busy with classes. I have so many new books that came out this month from the library and they are all two week books. I'm reading Doctor Sleep now. I just finished Final Cut Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison. It's going to be a really good series. Doing the review now.
Been reading Box since his first book. This is my least favorite of his books. If you're looking for a serial killer type book, there are many authors who do it better. His series is very good. I guess I would describe it as family/wilderness/environment type mysteries. His lead character's family plays a big role and it's been fun watching the kids grow up. Just have not been wild about any of his stand alones. The series is very comparable to William Kent Krueger's series which is also excellent. Gary
Hi Gary, it is as though retired people don't really rest. I too am so busy giving talks to church people, giving tuition in English to examination students ie for extra money, and writing as well. Sometimes I feel like a bee but now I want to catch up on my reading. Good luck in your busy schedule.
Hey, you're supposed to be retired! My reading has been down this year also. I run ops for an emergency freight trucking company during the day and have been running freight in my pick-up at nights and on weekends for extra cash. [Oldest daughter got married in May.] Just had a nice 3 day camping trip with my sons, crazy Irish brothers in law, nieces and nephews. And yes the beer was flowing! It's good to get away from it all sometimes. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Take care, Gary
I was thinking "goat" only because I recently read Feast of the Goat by Mario Vargas Llosa
As for "all the work" .... it's a labor of love (and I "borrowed" most of the Zodiac ideas from a group challenge over on GoodReads.com).
K ... I hear what you are saying, but I thought those were just too obvious. I tried to come up with three challenges for each sign that connect to the sign in some way without being "read a book with a goat on the cover for Capricorn month."

Thank you so much for your welcome. I am retired to from nursing was a RN for 23 years. Now i have plenty of time to read. Still busy but not like I was before. I love your dogs name it fits. My first passion is gardening but reading and books are right up there with my first passion. I am reading right now Home To Holly Springs) On the last chapter. I liked it and want to read more of Jan Karon. Well have a good weekend:)
I have only recently (last two years) started reading mysteries/detective stories. I really like the genre. I've loved teaching them in my classroom, I'm surprised it took me so long to read them for my own pleasure reading. I plan on using your shelf to expand my horizon in this genre.
