I've been an avid reader, mostly of sci-fi and thrillers, as long as I can remember. I moved 34 boxes of books the last time I moved and have read well over 700 books on first & second generation Kindles. When I traveled constantly, the Kindle was a life-saver. Now that I'm a husband and dad, having the portability and huge library for when I need to kill a few minutes or am on mass transit makes it just as valuable but less consuming of my time. « less
