Hey, I'm just messaging around to introduce myself as the author of "Kyle vs Leila - Battle for the Cyberdomes" in the hope that people will shelve it! I've made the first half available free on smashwords for anyone who's interested as its got some decent reviews so far. Or there's the first chapter linked on here. Below that is a vid of me on YouTube ... just for fun :o)

Been a bum but I'm back now. I'll see you around the groups over the next few days
I've only read up through Skin Trade. I don't have the next several books.
Me too! And I won't both, but if I can only have one, I choose Tutresiel. :)
Kathryn, here's the link to the group for J. D. Robb's In Death series. You don't have to join to check out the book list, book reviews and anything else you need to evaluate the books.

Yea, I've loved that 2 day shipping thing. I can't tell you how many people got that blue Amazon wrapping paper :-) I do wonder if I should cancel though now that I get everything on my e-reader....but not yet!
Remember on your categories, that they can be anything! I've seen "Books with blue in the title", "Books with pages", "He dude, where's my body?" ha. Just find things that cover your TBR, that's what I did, ha.
The next Jim Butcher book in the dresden files series.
Yea, I was disappointed at that too. I think though that I was most disappointed that you could lend each book only once, ever. I am happy that at least all the members of a family can share the same book, at least there's that. I Ah well. It may change as the book industry gets more e-reader savy, we'll have to see.
I don't know if you are an Amazon Prime user, but if so, have you looked at their prime lending library?

I don't have a real Kindle, just the reader on my iPad, so I haven't had a chance to check it out.
FYI, the 12x12 group:

I don't think there's any way I can read that many books, but I'm game for trying anything :-)
Good, glad to hear it. I've got Red Headed Stepchild and our previously discussed Unholy Ghosts both in my TBR for the crazy 12x12 book challenge group I've joined. I'm behind and it's only the third of the year, ha. I'll get to them both sooner rather than later though. I see you started Mercy's new book. I got it on the reader today as well. I need to finish what I'm reading first though, ha. It's a personal rule with me!
Dooh! No problem. I'm also not really wild (even if it was lendable) about taking someones one and only chance to lend anyway. Thanks for the offer though. I've added it to the TBR. Now it languishes on the iPad until I have time to read it, ha. So many great books, so little time to give them all.
I've never done the borrow thing, no. I was just reading about it last week. If I understand correctly, I give you my email address and you can then loan a book to me through the Amazon site, is that about right? But you can only do it once?
I just looked her up and no, I've never read her. So she's worth a look?
Yes, I use the Kindle reader on my iPad, and I love it. I love the instant gratification, ha. No more waiting in that next book, a few clicks and it's there, or here, or whatever.
I just finished Spider and enjoyed it. Going to go write my review as soon as I finish talking to you :-)
Ha, yea, that's one series that I can't lay off of. I just hope that the next book has story and sex, and not just sex, ha. LKH I'm talking about of course.
I'm almost done with this latest book and I'm enjoying it. I've also enjoyed all the other books. I really like the gritty edge to Gin and how well done all the characters are done. When's the next book due, do you know?
Now, let's see if Gin survives her confrontation with Mab...
I need to get one, but they're kinda expensive...
Check out Madman in the Mirror on Amazon eBooks. You can read the first 3 chapters free. Thanks.
