Hey, FYI, the link did not come out, but I can cut and paste, or just type the title in the search box. I reserved the Autobiography of Mark Twain at attleboro. It's is part 1. I guess they will have part 2 next year or something.

I did. It's in What are you reading in August Part 3. I also wrote something in my Biliophile Club since they are the ones who recommended it.

i"m more than 1/2 way through. It's very powerful. You feel like you are there. A couple of times I tensed up wait to hear gun fire. Very powerful. I won't say it's a great story because of the content, but it's very well told.

Yes, I think it was one of the those you have to get to the end to really appreciate the whole story. Let me know.

Hey Ken, no I actually read about this book in Time so I figured I would add it. It sounds like NPR gave it a good review and so did Time, so that's encouraging.

Hey Ken, I liked what your wrote in the should people read trash or nothing. I had to write something, you can go read it...buy honestly those people were scaring the crap out of me. I would hate to be their kids. Honestly could you ever imagine my mother not letting me read anything. I guess that was the way I was raised. Talk to you at some point.

Yup, I got it....the Hobbit and Lord of the rings, plus of course Daddy's Boys is totally children's lit. What else could it possibly be? Honestly Ken, why did you not get it?

Hmmm, well I guess it's all how you define "children". If we are talking children of the corn then perhaps...only kidding. I'll look at you shelf again, but I can't think of anything that would fall under children's lit.

Hey Ken. I've not read Picturing Will, I'll check it out. I read a lot of Beattie in college because I took a short story class from one of her former teachers. (His name is escaping me at the moment).

The Marrying Kind is not a romance as in the literary genre. It feels more like a cinematic romantic comedy. I just recently got a deal for the book so not even sure yet what the release date will be. It's being published by Alyson. I'll let you know when I know.

I'm hoping to get cool people I know here in on a new Yahoo group I've started for booklovers, that starting in January will commence with a 50 Book Challenge for 2009. If you'd care to join, or know someone who'd like to, the link is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/50bookchallenge/?v=1&t=search&ch=web&pub=groups&sec=group I really want some book lovers in there, talking BOOKS! Thanks! Don
