Thanks for accepting the add. Hope you're having a great day. I am off to an evening in the "wild world" - that's what I call any event not held at home lol - Have a very cool night and hope to hear from you soon. You seem to know your way around books pretty well - just caught your profession - Any good reads you'd suggest?

    Ciao,
    JL

You have The World in the Evening, one of Isherwood's lesser and more charming books. He was almost embarrassed by it; he mentions it in his wonderful, huge diaries. I read it a long time ago, and loved it, and then it just about disappeared.

Hey Hunkie.... Hows the publishing going?? I think I should try my hand at writing smutty filth. Who can resist. I love that stuff. I just got the book... The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica. I will have to write a little something and see what you think. Do I even have a chance??

Are you a Wordie??? I am. I love those 10 cent words that make you sound extremely cerebral... Try www.freerice.com. You can help the hungry in the process. There are 50 level but almost no one gets past level 48. I've only made it to level 41 and I consider myself fairly intellectual. Let me know what you think?

    Ken,
I just received a notice from Borders telling me they were unable to contact the publisher of 'The Protector'. Should I wait a little longer and try again, or is Borders not carrying the book for some reason?

It sounds like my 50 cents was well spent then. :)
I see 'Cat's Eye' was one of your favorites. I've read several of Atwood's books and enjoy her complex characters. N. L. Gassert's 'The Protector' caught my eye. So I went to check out the author's website and ordered the book from my local Borders. Funny, I was never much of a romance reader. Who knew m/m romance could be so sexy? ;)

    Hi Ken,
I see we both have 'The Carnivorous Lamb' on our shelves. I picked up my copy dirt cheap a few months ago at a library sale but haven't read it yet. Did you enjoy the book?
    Great photo BTW!

Yes, the truth is your books should probably come with the pages laminated for lifelong durability.

Is there lots of snow there in RI?? Here in Houston it has been soooo mild...it sucks.
