I am Kira and I live in Manchester. I like reading fantasy mostly. I love indie music, rollerblading, ice skating and speed skating. Haven't read much recently because of GCSE's and stuff, but my new years resolution is going to be to read more books. (I have a huge backlog of books to read)

For a children's book it is a very slow and often boring read. But I still like the story all the same.

Almost every story in this book was very interesting and inspiring. I became a vegan very recently and it's given me more information about what other vegans are like and has spurred me on.

It wasn't as good as I am Number Four, but I still read it very quickly, it was quite gripping. Unlike some people, I did like the introduction of other characters such as Seven and Nine. I wasn't so keen on the romance aspects, I found it annoying. I still like Sam the best- John is irritating!!

Though I thought that the constant use of the present tense in this book was quite irritating, I liked the idea that the book was over a 24 hour period and I quite enjoyed the plot and the two main characters. It wasn't a very long book and I would've really liked it to have gone on a little longer. It seemed a bit like the first half of a book. I really enjoyed it nevertheless.

At first, the book was quite hard to get into with the kind of old fashioned language and foreign names and things (plus the odd first chapter, or was that a prologue??) but once into it, I couldn't put this book down. I loved especially the second half and I'm going to have to get some more Eva Ibbotson books at the library! A great romantic read even if you don't know a thing about opera.

Another hilarious diary of a wimpy kid book. It is the best thing you can get if you want something easy to read and entertaining all the way through, without a complex plot. The characters and events that happen are relatable to your own life and you completely understand Greg's situation. I would reccomend all books in the series to most people. They take as little as one or two hours to read, but are so rewarding!! Can't wait until the next book (the films aren't bad either)

My favourite of the series so far, following Hem in Turbansk. I love Irk the white crow. I think that Hem is a more accessible character than Maerad was in the previous books in the series and that is why I enjoyed this book more, though it is quite grim at times and maybe a little gory. I will definitely complete the series with 'The Singing'

It took some time getting into this book, as I wasn't used to the victorian style, but I read it to the end and though it didn't scare me, or warn me- it's scary in a different way, it was a good storyline and an interesting read, even though I had to read it for my English GCSE!

This was an immensely funny book, cover to cover and I barely put it down before I finished it. Good story and surprising ending!

This is a brilliant end to the best series of books I've read for a long time. I would recommend the Numbers series to most people- male or female aged 14-16
