- Shane Johnson is a writer and graphic artist. His previous novels include the historical thriller Chayatocha, the 2002 Christy Award finalist ICE, and The Last Guardian, a Christy Award finalist chosen by Booklist magazine as one of the top 10 Christian novels of 2001.
He is a devout believer in the inerrancy of Scripture, the sovereignty of God, and the surety of salvation through Christ. He also is a spaceflight historian, and served as a design consultant for the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon." He lives in north central Texas with his wife Kathy and son Daniel.
