kimmer

I am a reader. Fiction is my pleasure and my current obsession is urban fantasy aka dark fantasy. I enjoy mystery and science fiction.
If you are looking for a new friend, but dont read a lot of the same things I do, then we wont have much to talk about.
If you have more friends than books on your shelf, I am probably not your best... more »

Ever since they've changed the way the groups messages work, and you can create discussions that stay on the top, there is a great discussion that completely maps out how PBT works. So, when you get a chance to go to groups - check that one out again. In the meantime, keep peeking in to see what's going on.

I've been adding tags to the books on my TBR to help me out when I'm Playing Book Tag with that group. I always tagged what I had already read but not the TBRs. This is making it easier for me when I have to choose a book to read along with the group. I see that you are also a member but I haven't seen posts from you - are you still lurking or busy with some others?

Hi Kimmer, You and I have been busy this month adding tags to our books. You are # 6 and I'm #7 for the most tags added this month - so far. I do find them very helpful.

Charlaine Harris i haven't read any of her books. they seem like a silly fun twist to vampires. a define change in what we see in others work. she seems quirky, yet I'm told she is a great story teller. I love her outrageous covers!

Wolfsbane & Mistletoe, an anthology , I looked it up, it does sound juicy, i'm putting that up on my site this week, i'm way stoked too!

Carole Nelson Douglas, an interesting author. many detective stories, even a feline series. very gothic vintage covers. reminds me of victoria holt.

Kelley Armstrong has a great line of books out. I can't wait to look her works up next time i go out! you have a wonderful collection of books and fav. authors, thanks for the post and opinions!

I suppose I may as well try out the cyber manicure since I'll never have one in real life. When I was in high school I found out I was allergic to nickel and the reaction somehow spread to my fingernails from my fingers (from the rings I was wearing) and I got a terrible infection under my cuticles that as a result made me lose most of my fingernails. I was advised by a doctor that if I reacted that badly to nickel I should never have a manicure since it would most likely give me an infection. You always hear about the very rare possibility that can happen from manicures, but apparently for me it'd most likely be a reality. =\ I guess I'll take my chance at the cyber manicure. =P On the bright side I have a talent for being really good at painting nails and being creative so I can do my own.

Now I'm checking your shelves for some more great books to add to my ever growing list I want to read.
