I love Fantasy genre books, some mystery/suspense, epic fantasy, occasionally horror, classic horror not gore. Like Dorian Gray.

I recently discovered Michael Connelly and Tess Gerritsen. I also recently discovered Patricia Cornwell & Charlaine Harris, I just can't get enough of the Sookie Stackhouse series. Just too funny of a... more »

I have all of Michael Connelly's books (except the newest-not in paperback yet).
Try Void Moon; it is different from the Bosch books-no detective protagonest. I have read all of the Sookie books too except for Dead and Gone. I don't care as much for Charlaine Harris' other series. In scrolling down I noticed I already posted on Michael Connelly and Harris. Excuse: poor memory.

Hi! Yes, just for one year, I'm in a internship right now until the end of April. Then I'll go back to Spain. I'm not reading too much fantasy books right now because I'm starting to read Murakami work, and is amazing!

    Best regards!

I just finished Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris and am going to get the two after that from the library in the next few days. That will bring me up to the "just out" one (Dead and Gone??). These books are beginning to seem a lot alike. AND I noticed in Definitely that Sookie's latest boyfriend, Quinn, calls her Babe. Evey time he does Stephanie Plum pops into my head, I cannot help it.

I have read all of Patrica Briggs' Mercy Thompson books and the Charles and Anna ones also. I prefer Briggs over Harris.

Have you tried Jim Butcher's Dresden series? It is a change of pace in that the main character is male (Harry Dresden-wizard) and he gets involved with a variety of "others."

I have all of Michael Connelly except the most recent. Try Blood Work and Void Moon. They are non-Bosch. Void Mood is one of my favorites.

No problem for the posts! Our kitten that we have had for a few months, she is also very lovable, also follows us around the house. She's always climbing up on my chest to rub her head against my face. My fiancee did not believe that she could be descended from Bobcats until I googled a picture of bobcat kittens for him--they look just like our little girl, with tiny spots and stripes on the legs and face! Same coloring, too. That's how we came to find out about Pixie-Bobs. She never gets upset or bites, but it might be due to her being a girl.. she hardly ever talks, either, unless I have the food bowl coming out!

I would love to be friends! :) Are you reading anything good right now? I've been working on the BBD read of the month, Hopscotch.. which is.. interesting. Also have been reading Audition by Barbara Walters, because I am a memoir junkie.

Your kitten looks just like my new kitten! It is uncanny. Is yours part Pixie-Bob? We think ours is.
