I love to read (too much) and usually have several books going at once. If you want to know more about who I am, please see more info following!
I live in Birmingham, Alabama with my incredibly good looking, super intelligent, sexy husband and our four children. My first baby girl is now 15 (beautiful!). We also have an 19 yo (my stepdaughter), a 14 year old daughter (gorgeous!) and a 10 year old boy (super handsome). And all are smart and talented as well!
I work at a regional chain book store. Reading is my passion, but I also like to do some crafty stuff (knit,crochet, etc.) do stuff with my kids, and walk/run/workout, and travel when I can. I belong to three book groups. I graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BA in English and really never did anything with the ever useless degree! Except read! I am originally from Long Island, New York (Kings Park).
Not all the books on my shelf are ones I own--I read a lot from the library--but the ones I love I own, usually. When I love a book, I usually plan on re-reading it one day, and will try to obtain a personal copy. I also like to buy them at used bookstores/thrift stores/yard sales, to give them away to people I really like and I think will appreciate the books that I love.
I love a lot of classic stuff, a lot of new literature, and like ww2 lit also. Some of my favorite authors are E. M. Forester, Jane Austen, Anne Tyler, Amy Tan, Bill Bryson and David Sedaris. I like poetry, also.
