3 months after the fact... (my bad!)
My fav in 'Everything's Eventual' by King was 'Everything's Eventual'. I simply couldn't enjoy 1408 as I'd seen the movie about a year before reading the story. I didn't enjoy the movie. It just didn't 'scare' and it didn't feel like a true 'King' story. Not the fault of the actors, it appeared as though they gave all to make it work.

The first time I heard about 100 Years of Solitude I was 14. My brother had read it and said that I will see each member of our family depicted as the characters in this book. Well, I read it and did not see what my brother meant. I was able to see some similarities, but certainly not to the extent my brother assured me. Your description of this book, which I've read twice in my life and have recommended it to many, is the best I've ever read. I never thought of it the way you put. The author has so many layers in this story, which is convoluted, but one has to be patient and stick with it. If you let it, the story will let you see part of not just your family, but of yourself in an extended way. I still loved this book.

LOL! So glad I don't look like Mayberry's Goober- although I can be about as bright as him at times. !! Glad to see you here at Shelfari. Moe hasn't discovered Shelfari yet. Between Flixster and his ink toner forums, he doesn't have much time for other websites. I'll be certain to check out your shelf. Your readings might teach me a thing or two.

    Kevin,

It's about damn time I get a message you...

I live in Minneapolis now. I have been moved back here in December last year. I have an apartment now. It's a section apartment. I moved in here in April. I am hoping to bring myself to an income level where I can afford standard, and rent any damn place I like. I am liking this place I am living right, it's alright, it's actually quit well ran.

I am in the process of starting up my own media company. Blue Moon Media. It's going to consist of an online news magazine, and a professional photography service.

I am in school now. Minneapolis Community College. I am taking a two year degree program in Photography and Digital Imaging. My goal is to have my business established by the time I finish the degree. If I don't at least I'l have that sheet of paper to fall back on.

    Hey Kevin call me sometime.

    Hope you're doing well,

    Sean Hardin

    Kevin,

Next time you're at the central library if they have Mirror for Humanity check it out, it's an amazing read this book. You can read my review of the book.

    Later,

    Sean Hardin

Hey Kevin! I guess you can see I'm way more active on librarything.com than I am here. I wish there were some way of just transferring all the stuff from there to here with lifting a finger. Nice pic by the way :-) Pat
