I love to read. Always have. Always will. Being read to at a young age really helped with that (thanks mom and dad!). My best memories of school growing up are of reading time, and it was so exciting when the family would take a trip to the public library. The anticipation of being able to pick from among so many books, bring them home with me and read -- in the afternoon, in the evening, under the covers with a flashlight at night (only occasionally getting caught), or sometimes all day during the summer. Reading was magical, powerful, educational, uplifting, broadening, wonderous. And a good book still has the same pull and hold over me as it ever did. « less
