OMG! I read and read and read and she keeps introducing new things, new dangers, fears, worries, until to last minutes...
And she finishes the book so nicely :-)

The second book is not that exciting, but read all three.

OMG... she doesn't seem to know anything about spinning, sheep, designing knitwear or human nature. It's partially a painful read.

I'm trying to become a writer, and books like this are very good for my self confidence. THIS got published - and sequels too!

I absolutely love this book... unexpected, exciting, interesting... I especially love the fact that I liked almost all the characters, even those I didn't like when I started reading the book. Though Julius' father and the sadist, those I don't like.

It's not my favorite Austen, but it made me think about Pride and Prejudice - this could be the story of the Beckett sisters' children :-D

I think this book was horrible. It taught me to read quickly, though.

I sort of liked the first adventures, but when they blew up the dog... brrr. I'm sorry I read it.

I simply hate this book. I hate the rose, I hate the stupid prince, I just hate it.

One of the most unnecessary books ever written... I can't believe anyone even cares to write this kind of misery stories - a poorly treated woman starts finally see light in her life, when she gets cancer and dies.
I can't believe they want to make this a movie.
I can't believe she managed to get a sequel published.
But - promises good for the rest of the authors of the world.

“If you read enough, there will be the magic moment, when you put down some book saying "This really sucks... I can do better than this... this got published..."

Actually, I have both the original and the one with Arthur Rackham's illustrations... I love this book. Every Born-again Evangelical Christian should burn this book with Mary Poppins in stead of Harry Potter. Taught me more of the Pagan lifestyle than any witchy book I've ever read.
