I'm an editor who lives and works in the lovely Sacramento area. Former English major, grammar nut and book addict! Words are my everything. I know more books and know them better than I know people. Words can make my heart stop; words can make me stop breathing. They are my nearest and most loyal companions.

I'll read most things, but I'm especially fond of all fictions (magical realism, 20th century British/Irish lit, comic fiction), the modern short story, nature lit and random histories-of. I also harbor a certain fondness for Star Wars "literature" and really bad fantasy books about talking magical horses. Everyone needs a breather now and then!

My current books-to-buy list is about 10 pages long and grows almost daily (Wish List). The last time I moved, 35 of my 40 boxes were full of books, probably half of which I've yet to read (see: Reading List). I've been known to read anything and everything, so send me suggestions! « less
