Hi! I'm Kelsie and I love reading almost more than anything else...besides having fun with my friends and boyfriend and listening to music. Anywho, I pretty much read anything so if you think that I will like a book, send the title my way, I'll get to it as soon as possible! Peace!

Hi! Hope you had a great 4th! We got rain. My daughter with special needs loves the 4th, she can't see the fireworks but she can hear them and she loves them, but a storm was moving in so we got in as many as we could before it hit, right at the prime time to set them off. Our neighbors were doing the same thing, so she loved what she got.
I've aready pre-ordered Covet too! It's sounds interesting and since it's not in hardcover (though I kind'a wish it was) it's much easier on the wallet. There's a few books being released that I would really like to have, and it's hard when I'm about to start getting the kids ready for back to school and just the regular monthly bills, I have to pick and choose. Just read the latest Sookie, borrowed it from a friend and they are really fast reads, and there's a new one again in October!
Have you ever read Snowflower and the Secret Fan? My book club read it a couple of years ago and I wasn't too keen on reading it at first, but loved it when I actually did. We just read the author's new one for last month, had our meeting the other night and got to talk to the author by phone. I love the way she tells a story and she was so incredibly nice, I wish we could have met her in person, but if you ever get a chance to read Snowflower...take it. It's a wonderful story, it's on my list of all time favorites and I really enjoyed Shanghai Girls too, there's a 2nd part coming to it. But you learn a little bit of history with them, things you didn't know you never knew.
Hope all is going well, talk to you soon!

From what I hear, and it's been years since I've been to Florida, it has gotten seriously expensive. That's why we're starting early just to save up for next fall break, it'll take that long to to do it and that's not including unexpected things. I know people who do it every couple of years, but I know they're charging the fun and then spending a year paying it off, I just can't do that though. There's other things I want too.
So when are you getting married? We just had our 17 yr anniversary on Saturday, so hard to believe it's been that long! Somedays it feels like just yesterday and then somedays...well it feels like a lifetime. But I think it's that way for everyone. I would do it all over again though, maybe a few changes here and there, but I'm looking forward to the next 17 years.
Well good luck on the classes and finding a new job. I know a lot of hospitals will do that, they pay for your RN if you work for them, so I don't think it'll be hard to do it. You know what you want and how to get it, so many others have no plans at all so you'll make it all work out.
Reading Lover Avenged right now, should finish today or tomorrow, it's loongg! It's different than all her others, she's got different stories running at the same time, but I got hooked on these and I have to read them now. She's got a new series, fallen angels, starting in September, I've got it on preorder. It's not coming in hardback, just paperback, so it's a lot easier on the wallet. But Barnes and Noble is having a big clearance sale and I ordered a box a books from there, I can't refuse $3.99 for a book. That's as good as the GW, which I haven't been finding a lot there lately so I'll stay away for 3-4 weeks and then when I go in there will be so many I won't have the money for all of them. And since I'm not in Nashville everyday(summer break), I'm not hitting my used book store a couple of times a week, so I'm actually saving money right now and that's always good news. But a couple of friends on this site told me about paperbackswap.com so I'm doing it now too, books, books and more books.
So many to read...I'll never find the time for them all. I wish that was my job, just reading.
Well, hitting the housework, again. With the kids at home, it's just a circle with the cleaning, never gets totally done. It was much easier when they were younger though, and when there was a couple of them versus double the number. The boys are the worst by far! Have a great day and talk to you soon!

Hi, Kelsie! It's been a while...so busy with end of year things with the kids and now they're on summer break, thi is one of the things I'm hoping to catch up on. I would log on long enough to put books on my shelf just so I know which I haven't read and so on.
So you graduated! I know you were excited about that, ready for college? Nursing? Which college are you going to? Being so close to Kentucky, I hear of various college's up there. Any big plans for the summer before you take off?
We're staying close to home this summer, gas is going up again... and we're planning on a big trip next year with the kids. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is supposed to open next year in Orlando and we have a little boy who just knows he will be able to get a "real" magic wand there so we're saving for a trip down there. Especially considering how much it costs we started early! Friends that have been down have warned how expensive everything is and we've been waiting till all the kids are old enough to really enjoy it. So this year we're doing just local day things, not much fun for the kids but they get the bigger picture, next year!
Have you read anything good lately? I just finished a good mystery, The Virgin of Small Plains and really enjoyed it. Into mysteries at the moment, it'll change. Went to Atlanta on Saturday to meet Karen Marie Moning (the Fever series I've talked about), it was fun but I don't think I'll drive that far for another author. And it was 107 degrees on Saturday! I was dying! Granted we've been close the 100 mark this summer, but I usually have until the end of July, first of August before we get that high!
I'm hoping to organize the kitchen today, but that was my goal yesterday too, so we'll see how that actually goes. I'll probably just head outside with the kids this afternoon and get them on the waterslide to cool off. Still trying to get the pool going, we've had to do repairs on it this year so we're running behind. Maybe by the time school starts we'll have it going!
Well, have a great day and talk to you soon!

My weekend has been good. My summer has definately kicked off b/c we are always out doing something. Mostly having to do with some sort of sunbathing or swimming. My kids have someone spending the night or coming over everytime I turn around. We had a cookout at my friends pool last night and then went to soccer games all day today. I think I'll just rest tonight instead of going back to the pool.

So how is the job hunting going for you?
