I don't always read what's on "the list" to read because so many different things interest me. I can choose a book on "the list" of "must reads" for the world, but often I'm drawn to new authors, books whose writing is unique or inspiring, and yes, for years and years (although not much recently), a healthy dose of chick lit, or romance. I am someone who needs a fairy tale once in a while -- as long as it's decently written. Sadly, I've read quite a bit of crappy romance novels. « less
