Hey! What have you been doing??? I think you must be very busy...we need a book! It's your turn!! Pick, please, pick!!!!
I love your shelf! We have 46 in common, not surprising because they are a lot of the good ones over the past few years. Also, I lived in Seattle for a few years and think that influenced some of my choices (ie, Guterson.) Any new up and coming Seattlites I should read? How's Elliot Bay doing? Sigh...
keiko, hello! It's really great to find people that share the same interests. I've seen that you also love Paulo Coelho's books and it would be great keeping in touch... I invite you to join new Paulo Coelho's Group and discuss about your favorite books:http://www.shelfari.com/groups/11494/aboutHope to keep on talking to you! have a great day! aart www.paulocoelhoblog.com
How about we just start by selecting a book a month that we will all read and blog about?? Too boring/standard-book-club for you?? We could close our eyes and blindly 'click' at Powells.com?? Read the next book we see someone else reading on the bus, in a doctor's office, at Sbucks, etc?? Wow! I'm just full of good ideas!!!
we have 3 boox in common, for me that is a lot as my boox are mostly art boox and thus matching up with other "members" is less likely..... sad to say.i see you like andy goldsworthy. have you ever seen any books by richard long? he is also an environmental artist. a bit more subtle and conceptual than goldworthy. goldsworthy has a few other books you might be interested in as well.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for fulfilling lots of my 'wish list'. Am starting "Interpreter of Maladies" tonight (as I am no longer in need of a 'beach read'....alas....). TTFN tamiam
'unreliable narrator' = brilliant! I love it! Nicely done. Had fun browsing your list.
Greetings! Yeah, I'm pretty sure we can still be friends: "great minds think...NO that's not it....opposites attract" That's better! We have some overlap on our 'faves' list AND we have read many of the same books (I'm not sure why you are still reading Vernon--it was and excellent, book, btw--finish it, already!). I have added several of your choices to my wish list, so don't despair...I might come around to your way of thinking yet!! TTFN tamiam
Ed, I look at your shelf and see my own. If only I had more time to read all the books that don't overlap!Bill
Hello, what is your favorite book? Mine is "Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone".
Hi keiko... I was jut checkin your shel, we have some books in common =) You know, "A Pale View of Hills" could be under "unreliable narrator" as well. Etsuko mixes up her life with the life of her friend Sachiko and we never get to know the truth... that just came to my mind! And I actually checked your shelf because of you name and Etsuko's daughter's name in this novel! Anyway.... good to see you in shelfari! Have a good day!
Hi -- I was showing Shelfari to my friend Jay Wampold and he saw your profile and was like, "I know her!". So, I guess we're two degrees separated... ;) Like your shelf btw! ciao, rob
Like your choice of books. What did you think of the Blind Assasin.
Hey Keik! Very cool site! Boy, I have a lot of reading to do just from the ones on your list that look great!Ewann
