I am a writer, editor, educator, web designer, and lover of how things work. I particularly love doing research...partly so I can discover the inner workings of just about anything from plumbing to carpentry, web coding to making fabric do anything I want...bwah-hah-hah...

My arts career got sidelined by a car accident and now I've gone back to my original love---writing. I see the hundreds of books I've read as my doctorate course in literature analysis. It's been pretty fascinating the last few years!

I've been working on publishing the arts portfolio columns I wrote for my arts group newsletter into print publications (four so far!) and I am dying to figure out how to convert them to Kindle and eBooks---the TOC and indices are giving me pain. Oh where are the BDB boys when I need 'em!

Still, it is an opportunity to figure out how things work... « less
